This initiative represents the first recorded global program in which university faculty dedicated to Quantum Computing were formally trained in Lean Six Sigma.
Academic Intervention Framework
To address three core challenges faced by faculty in teaching Quantum Technologies, the following approach was adopted:
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using the 5 Whys technique
- Corrective actions mapped to prerequisite gaps
- Design of a comprehensive Learning Management System (LMS), including:
- Lesson plans
- Lecture modules and presentation slides
- MCQs and case studies
Outcome
- 350 joint certificates issued by IPEC and Advent Global Foundation
- IPEC Board resolutions to:
- Launch a Quantum Technology–focused magazine
- Create customized Lean Six Sigma White, Yellow, and Green Belt programs
- Deploy these programs through the partner EdTech platform Global Excenor
